Magazine Recreation: PhotoShop
This PhotoShop assignment required me to recreate the composition of a magazine of my choosing. For this I chose a cover from Vogue Portugal December 2018 featuring model Stella Lucia. I used my DSLR camera to capture a picture of my friend Emily to be my model. I took the picture on my dorm bed, and then found similar elements to the ones in the original cover and PhotoShopped them in. I used the typeface Didot to replicate “Vogue” and found a sans serif for “Portugal” and a similar condensed typeface for “Light Xmas Dark”. The goal of this project was to use PhotoShop for the lettering, and facetuning elements. The final composition was satisfactory.
